Exporting data
Download any AutoPSEO table as CSV, paste it into a spreadsheet, save charts as PNG images, or hand someone a snapshot with CSV and HTML downloads.
Every table in AutoPSEO carries the same three buttons: Show or hide columns, Copy table to clipboard and Export data as CSV. Charts have an Export chart as PNG button, and most reports add Save & share report for a snapshot other people can download. This page explains what each one produces, and how to get larger data sets out on a schedule.
Download a table as CSV
Export data as CSV downloads the rows the table holds right now: sorted the way you sorted them, after your search and the selected tab (All, Winning, Losing and so on) have narrowed them. About the file:
- It contains every column of the table, including those hidden on screen; only purely visual columns are left out.
- Percentages are written with two decimals and a percent sign (
27.03%), positions with two decimals, and countries by name. - The separator follows Account → CSV export format: commas for Standard, semicolons for European.
- It begins with a UTF-8 byte order mark, so Excel shows accented characters correctly.
- Its name says what it holds, for example
queries-2026-09-14-2026-10-11.csvfor the Queries report over that range.
Change badges are drawn in the table, not stored as columns. Where a report has a real previous-period column, such as Prev Ranking in the Queries report, it is exported like any other.
Copy a table
Copy table to clipboard copies the same rows and columns as tab-separated text. Paste into Google Sheets or Excel and each value lands in its own cell.
Choose the columns on screen
Show or hide columns decides what you see. Some reports start with a column hidden, such as CTR in the Queries, Pages and Countries reports. Hiding a column changes only the screen; CSV and copied output still include it.
Save a chart as an image
Export chart as PNG saves the chart at twice its on-screen resolution, on the page's own background colour, so it stays sharp in slides and documents. The image shows the chart as it is at that moment, with the series you switched on and the annotations you left visible.
Send queries to the keyword library
Tables of queries also offer Save to keyword library. It saves the queries that remain after your search and filters, up to the first 500, to the property's Keyword Library under Research → Keyword Research, ready for the research tools.
Share a snapshot instead of a file
Save & share report stores the rows on screen (up to 5,000), the KPI cards and the chart behind a link, with an optional password and expiry. Anyone who opens the link can download the snapshot as CSV or as a self-contained HTML file that works offline and has its own sortable, searchable table. In the snapshot CSV, cells a spreadsheet could read as a formula are prefixed with an apostrophe. See Sharing & team access.
Getting more rows out
A table holds what its report loaded. Reading live from Search Console, most reports fetch up to 25,000 rows per period; with full storage they read every stored row in the range. For comparison, Google's own interface exports at most 1,000 rows, and Google puts the data its API holds at up to 50,000 rows a day per site and search type (Google Search Central).
For a regular feed into another tool, call the REST API instead of downloading files: it uses the same keys as MCP, answers in JSON and is described by an OpenAPI document at https://app.autopseo.com/v1/openapi.json. MCP & ChatGPT covers keys, and Data Studio shows one way to feed a dashboard.
