Dashboard Management

Decide which Search Console properties appear on your dashboard, switch full storage on per property, and remove properties you can no longer read.

Dashboard Management3 min read

Dashboard Management, in the main sidebar, is the control room for your properties. It lists every property AutoPSEO has imported for you, lets you choose which ones appear on My Sites and in Global Reports, turns full storage on or off for each, and clears out properties that no linked account can read any more. Three panels at the top show where you stand against your plan.

The panels at the top

  • Dashboard properties (live API): how many properties are switched on for the dashboard, against your plan's limit.
  • Full storage properties: how many keep their history in AutoPSEO's database, against your plan's limit.
  • Google accounts: how many are connected and whether any needs re-authorising, with a link to Account settings.

The property table

Each row shows the property with its Domain or URL-prefix badge, a Dashboard switch, a Full storage switch with its status, the permission level Google reports for you, the Google account it is read through, its tags, and buttons to open its reports, open Property setup or Remove property. Above the table:

  • A filter box that matches the property address or the Google account.
  • Include all and Exclude all, for switching the dashboard on or off in bulk.
  • Refresh from Google, which reads every linked account's property list again. New properties appear and permission levels update.
  • Clean up inaccessible, shown only when some properties have no working Google connection.
  • A button that copies the table to your clipboard.

Dashboard on or off

A property switched on appears on My Sites and counts towards Global Reports. Switching it off hides it from both, while its reports, settings and stored history stay, and it remains reachable from the property switcher in the sidebar. When the meter is full, switch another property off or upgrade.

Full storage

Without full storage, reports read live from the Search Console API, and Google keeps only the last 16 months (Google's note). With it switched on, AutoPSEO copies the property's history into its own database and adds each new day:

StatusMeaning
OffNot stored; reports read live from the API
QueuedSwitched on; the first import starts with the next daily sync at 04:00 UTC, and properties are imported one at a time
Importing N%The 16-month backfill is under way
SyncedHistory is stored; reports on it load quickly, and it keeps growing beyond 16 months towards a ten-year archive

When stored history covers the whole range you ask for, reports read it; otherwise they go to the live API. Property Setup → Data source & full storage shows how many days are stored and has Sync now to fetch the newest days straight away. Full storage needs a linked Google account that can read the property. Switching it off keeps the rows already imported, and reports go back to the live API.

Removing properties

Remove property deletes the property from AutoPSEO together with its stored history, annotations, content groups and topic clusters. Search Console itself is not touched. Refresh from Google brings the property back, but not the deleted history.

Clean up inaccessible removes every property that none of your linked accounts can read, with its tags, branded keywords and saved settings. It refuses to run if one of your Google accounts could not be read, so a temporary error at Google never deletes properties that are still yours.

Permission levels

The permission column repeats what Search Console reports for your Google account: Owner (full control, including user management), Full User (can view all data and use most features), Restricted (view-only access to most data) and Unverified (verification pending in Search Console). These are Google's levels for your account on each property, separate from the read-only or full-access grant you give AutoPSEO, which is described in Connecting Search Console.

Bing properties

The Bing properties panel (Beta) lists the sites your Bing Webmaster Tools key can read, whether each is verified, and which Search Console property it was matched to. A property gets Bing reports once it has a match. Without a key, the panel links to where you add one.
