What is the difference between a Domain property and a URL Prefix property?
Getting Started
Domain Property
- Covers all subdomains (www, m, blog, etc.)
- Covers both HTTP and HTTPS
- Requires DNS verification only
- Recommended for most sites
URL Prefix Property
- Covers only URLs under a specific prefix
- Specific to one protocol (HTTP or HTTPS)
- Supports multiple verification methods
- Useful for tracking specific subdomains separately
How AutoPSEO helps
Once your property is verified, connect it to AutoPSEO with the same Google account. AutoPSEO reads the property through Google’s Search Console API (read-only), keeps a 10-year history for stored properties and turns the raw rows into striking-distance, content-decay and CTR reports without any spreadsheet work.
