How do I use the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console?
Indexing Issues
The URL Inspection tool is accessible via the search bar at the top of any Search Console page. Enter any URL from your property to see:
- Index status - Whether the URL is currently indexed
- Last crawl date - When Googlebot last visited the page
- Crawl details - Referring page, crawl allowed/blocked status
- Rendered page - Click "View Crawled Page" to see how Google sees the page after JavaScript rendering
- Enhancements - Any structured data or AMP errors detected
Use "Request Indexing" after publishing new content or making important changes to a page.
How AutoPSEO helps
Instead of inspecting URLs one by one, run a bulk inspection in AutoPSEO (up to 2,000 URLs per property per day, Google’s quota) and filter the results by verdict, coverage state and Google-selected canonical. The Index Tracker keeps re-checking the URLs you care about every day.
